Meet Maja, the creative
soul behind NUR Design
NUR Design is a Danish design studio focusing on Nordic traditions with a strive to create classic and functional design. In German, the word ‘nur’ means ‘only’ and ‘simply’ which is the essential expression of the designs. The designer behind the studio, Maja Bøgh Vindbjerg, graduated from the school of architecture in Aarhus in 2015, which is visible in the sculptural and architectonic lines of her designs.
With a minimalistic expression in mind, she aims to create timeless and long-lasting designs that are suitable for many different purposes. Her understanding of production methods and the challenges and opportunities various materials provide results in clean designs with great attention to detail.
